Sophia Chambon (2001-) is French and Finnish composer. In 2026, she will complete her Master’s degree in composition at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris and the Sibelius Academy of the University of the Arts Helsinki. In her work, she explores the sonic complexity of acoustic instruments and the voice. She composes for voice, soloists and small ensembles as well as large ensembles and orchestras. Her music has already been performed in Finland, France, Italy, the United Kingdom, Croatia, and Sweden, and will be performed Denmark in August 2026.
